Michael Mayes is a product designer and manager, based in New York City.

Professionally, Michael is a designer, strategist, and marketer. He is currently responsible for running product efforts for the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) website and new media site efforts at GLG. Previously, he worked on direct and web marketing with the TIAA-CREF 'For the Greater Good' campaign, and was a graphic designer and program strategist with Capital One during the launch of 'What's in your wallet?' where he developed customer acquisition and retention materials for the premium customer segments. He also worked on Lean and SixSigma process strategies for Capital One card operations.
Michael grew up in Skippack, PA near Philadelphia, and has spent time significant time in Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia, and abroad in both Florence, Italy, and London, UK.
