Isn’t it interesting what design becomes – ‘it’ and people flock to ‘it.’ the reproduction of the eames chair is a great example of a chair that is designed but is incredibly impractical for a regular house, with its toe-stubbing metal feet, large boxy ottoman, and ominous lean as it sits in the corner of the room, sort of looking at you like ‘yes I’m comfortable – for you to look at!
